This Privacy Policy explains how Ladder VPN (referred to as 'this Service' or 'we') collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when providing mobile and desktop app services. The Service is provided as is, and we apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your privacy.

When you download, launch, or use the App, we may collect necessary operational data, including Internet Protocol (IP) address, device system version, in-app paths, error logs, and connection status. To recommend suitable nodes and improve connection quality, we may process approximate device location information. This information is used for: 1. Connection services, including route recommendations based on Ladder VPN node availability; 2. Performance improvement through anonymized aggregate diagnostics; 3. Service communications such as security notices, service changes, and account-related messages sent to your registered email or account identifier.

We transmit aggregated or anonymized data to necessary third-party providers only when needed, such as Google Play Services, Firebase, or crash analysis tools, for app stability, diagnostics, and feature improvement. We do not disclose personal information to third parties except when required by legal process, regulatory obligation, user or public safety needs, fraud investigation, or cooperation with service providers bound by confidentiality obligations. If you want to stop new data collection, uninstall the App through the standard process on your device.

User-provided data is retained during the account term and a reasonable retention period afterward. To cancel your account, delete personal information, or ask about data handling, contact our privacy team at [email protected]. The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from that group. If such information is discovered, we will take steps to delete it. We protect data confidentiality through access controls, encrypted transmission, and security review practices.

This Privacy Policy may be updated because of regulatory requirements, product changes, or operational needs. Please review this page periodically.
